These Terms & Conditions outline the rules and expectations for clients and users of Studio Dröm. By booking services, purchasing products, or browsing this site, you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Business Information

Studio Dröm is a sole proprietorship registered in Lausanne, Switzerland and operated by Katia Cuervo Arango. We are not VAT registered and operate under the Swiss VAT threshold.

2. Services Offered

We provide creative services including but not limited to:

  • Brand design

  • Web design (Squarespace, Shopify)

  • Newsletter and e-commerce design

  • Brand strategy workshops

  • Ongoing design support retainers

  • Templates and digital resources (one-off purchases)

Custom service proposals may include additional or unique deliverables not listed above.

3. Client Process

Contracts: A signed agreement is required before beginning any custom project.

Payments: Most projects follow a 50/50 payment structure (50% deposit to begin, 50% before final delivery). In some cases, payment plans may be offered as a gesture of goodwill.

Late Payment Fees:

  • A late fee of CHF 30 will apply for every 30-day period beyond the due date.

Default, Rescheduling, and Restart Fees:

  • If the Client fails to respond after 10 calendar days (via email, call, or message), the Designer may terminate the contract and retain any payments made.

  • For delays exceeding 10 days without communication, a CHF 100 restart fee may apply and the project will be rescheduled according to availability.

Proofing & Approvals:

  • Clients must review and approve deliverables within 2 business days.

  • Any changes after final approval may incur additional fees and rescheduling.

Refunds:

  • No refunds are offered once the project begins or digital products have been delivered.

4. Digital Products & Templates

Digital downloads, templates, and design resources sold through studiodrom.com are:

  • Final sale (non-refundable)

  • Not to be redistributed, resold, or shared without written permission

Use is limited to the original purchaser for personal or business use only.

5. Intellectual Property

Studio Dröm retains copyright ownership of all original work until full payment is received. After payment, you receive the rights as outlined in your individual service agreement.

Templates and digital products remain the intellectual property of Studio Dröm. Purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use for your own business purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

While Studio Dröm strives for accuracy and functionality, we do not guarantee the performance of third-party platforms (e.g., Squarespace, Shopify, Flodesk) and are not liable for bugs, downtimes, or integration issues.

Use of templates, tools, and resources is at your own risk. We cannot guarantee business success, financial results, or design outcomes.

7. Newsletter & Freebie Signups

By signing up to receive a freebie or newsletter from Studio Dröm, you consent to receive occasional marketing emails. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Checkbox consent is required during signup. For more information, refer to our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law, under the jurisdiction of the courts in Lausanne.
